Bethesda United Methodist Church in Salisbury, Maryland will be holding their Annual Fall Bazaar & Festival on Saturday, October 5, 2024. It will kick off at 6:30 AM with a Yard Sale. Then, beginning at 9 AM lots of homemade food will be available for purchase, and our famous Silent Auction will display over 100 items. The Youth will hold their Cake Walk from 11AM to 1PM. All activities will wrap up by 2 PM.

This year our Silent Auction will feature over 100 beautiful, themed baskets/gift cards/gifts on which you can bid. We think that you will find something for everyone in the family. It’s a great time to start your Christmas shopping! There will be baskets geared towards kids of all ages. For those who love sports, there will be gift certificates for bowling, golf, mini golf, baseball, skeet shooting, horseback riding and a local fitness center. Shoppers will find a variety of baskets and gifts for those who enjoy cooking and home decorating. Home décor will include wreaths and centerpieces, especially for fall, Halloween, Christmas, and winter. Gift cards will also be available for bidding on services such as a florist, CPA, photograph sessions, pest control, automobile detailing, and a manicure. As always, there will be gift cards/certificates from businesses and MANY eateries in and around Salisbury. Bidding begins at 9:00 AM and ends promptly at 2:00 PM. Winning bidders will be contacted, if not present, and may pay and pick up their winning items after 2:15 PM on Saturday, October 5 th . Cash or Check will be accepted. You won’t want to miss this Silent Auction!

The homemade food items to eat in or carryout will include Oyster Fritter Sandwiches (available

starting at 10AM), Vegetable Beef Soup, Peas & Dumplings, Hot dogs, Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Chicken Salad, homemade Ice Cream (vanilla, chocolate, peach, pineapple, strawberry), Sweet Potato Pies and Biscuits, and a whole table full of homemade baked goodies for sale, along with canned relishes and pickled beets. Our Sweet Potato pies and biscuits and homemade ice cream sell quickly and recommend you preorder by calling the Church Office by Monday, September 30 (410-742-8855, between 9AM-2PM, Monday thru Friday). Pickup of pre-ordered items will be during the festival from 9AM to 2PM.

Bethesda’s Youth Group will conduct a Cake Walk starting at 11AM. Tickets are $2/walk with a chance to win a delicious homemade cake. You won’t want to miss this activity.

We will also be having a raffle, with terrific first, second and third place prizes. Those prizes include wonderful gifts and gift cards from local businesses. Tickets can be purchased from 9:00 - 1:30. Winning tickets will be drawn at 1:30.

In addition, the special Boscov’s Friends Helping Friends Shopping Pass will be available for sale. For $5, you receive a shopping pass that provides an additional 25% off most items at Boscov’s store or online on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. It’s a great day to kick off your Christmas shopping!
