Rev. Bob Miller Senior Pastor Rev. Bob Miller loves people and enjoys the opportunity to help them see just how much Jesus loves them. He has served as a Christian leader for almost twenty years and while times have certainly changed, the crux of his message has not – the truth of Scripture, the power of the cross and the greatness of grace. Raised in Wicomico County, Maryland, he attended Church and Sunday School regularly at Ayers United Methodist Church in Pittsville, MD. It was not until he was twenty-five that his life was personally and dramatically changed by the love of Christ. As an engaging preacher and storyteller, he has an amazing way of not only bringing Scripture to life but applying it to where you live. He’s bold and honest and probably best loved for his care for others and sincerity. Each sermon delivers hope and encouragement. While the Bethesda congregation is beautifully diverse and the challenges of the day complex, Bob constantly points to the one place where true hope is found – simply Jesus Christ. Bob loves the theatre and arts. He enjoys playing the piano and an occasional game of golf.
